Mihaela Epure-Onaca is the creative mind behind AMO.RESIN, a contemporary jewelry brand that transforms resin into luminous, futuristic works of wearable art. With a background in chemical and industrial engineering, Mihaela bridges the precision of science with the freedom of artistic experimentation, giving life to pieces that explore transparency, color, and form.
An engineer by training, Mihaela nurtured her fascination for chemistry from adolescence, leading her to study chemical engineering in her hometown of Cluj-Napoca, followed by a specialization in Industrial Engineering at the University of Trento in Italy.
Her fascination with resin began during her studies in Italy, where she discovered the material’s versatility and expressive potential. Upon returning to Romania, she dedicated herself to experimenting and perfecting unique techniques, turning what started as a personal passion into a signature artistic language. Each piece she creates is made by hand, impossible to replicate, and reflects her pursuit of authenticity, refinement, and individuality.
Over the years, Mihaela has presented her work at numerous national and international art and design fairs, including the prestigious Sieraad Art Fair in Amsterdam, where her collections resonated with audiences seeking jewelry that goes beyond ornament, becoming instead a statement of identity and emotion.
Through AMO.RESIN, Mihaela continues to expand the boundaries of contemporary jewelry, inviting viewers and wearers alike to discover beauty in transparency, light, and transformation.

“MAXIMA ” Collection
“MAXIMA ” is an exploration of light and fluid forms, a contemporary jewelry collection that merges resin with experimental, futuristic materials. Each piece is designed to capture holographic reflections, where transparencies and iridescence transform into a unique optical spectacle.
Organic textures and vibrant colors – from translucent green with golden accents to effervescent opalescent pinks – evoke a science-fiction universe, where jewelry becomes more than an accessory: a manifestation of identity and inner strength.
The collection is built around the contrast between the fragility of appearances and the resilience of materials, between the natural irregularity of forms and the high-tech aesthetics of iridescent surfaces. “Maxima” is about intensity, expressiveness, and embracing difference.
Created for those who see jewelry as an artistic statement, the collection features sculptural necklaces and statement earrings that capture the gaze and transform light into movement.
