21 grams, the weight of soul. A theme proposed by Ruudt Peters, declined by 151 jewelry designers, featured in 5 countries. An international exhibition.
Does the soul exist? If so, what is its consistency? And where will she stay?
Rational or not, the answer lies in everyoneβs personal beliefs. On the basis of this hypothesis – that of the weight of the soul – which should be equivalent to 21 grams – a series of world artists set the tone.
Driven by aspirations (in)consciously influenced by their cultural background, they show with simplicity and humility jewels reflecting deep human concerns, beyond the materiality of existence and the dictates of consumption.
