Founded in 2009, AUTOR is Romania’s first platform dedicated exclusively to contemporary jewelry and one of the longest-standing initiatives of its kind in South-Eastern Europe.

Across 23 editions, AUTOR has brought together emerging and established designers from around the world, creating a meeting place shaped by strong curatorial standards, creative exchange and an openness to new ideas. It is a space where jewelry can be seen, touched, worn and understood - and where design, art and emotion naturally meet.

The selected artists explore jewelry from many different perspectives: from wearable pieces to conceptual and statement works, from cultural identity and personal stories to unconventional materials and new ideas of beauty. Their work invites people not only to wear jewelry, but also to connect with the thoughts and experiences behind it.

The AUTOR Fair is the main event of the platform, bringing designers into direct contact with a curious and engaged audience of jewelry lovers, collectors, cultural professionals, galleries and specialized media. Beyond the fair, AUTOR continues to create opportunities for dialogue, visibility and international connection through AUTOR Magazine, AUTOR Paper, its awards, partnerships and digital channels.
