AUTOR 2022, the only international contemporary jewelry fair in Southeast Europe, returns and holds its 19th edition. On the 28th – 29th of May, we’ll meet 50 of the most active contemporary jewelry designers. Starting from 10:00 to 19:00, at the Oscar Maugsch Palace ballroom, in Bucharest, visitors have the opportunity to purchase unique jewelry pieces directly from the creators and discover the purest manifestation of wearable art.

The Contemporary Jewelry fair brings to Bucharest the first event of 2022 of contemporary jewelry translated into 50 artistic languages. An event as an invitation to discover the jewel beyond the functional threshold, but especially to discover yourself in meeting the designers’ creations.

You will discover the creations of the 50 carefully selected designers from 15 countries by the jury formed of Niki Stylianou, Caroline Broadhead, Sofia Björkman and Dan Piershinaru, internationally recognized specialists in contemporary jewelry.
Among the present artists, you will meet 10 talented designers from Ukraine, ready to show you jewelry collections as a manifesto for beauty, invited through the support offered by the AUTOR Platform.

Launched in 2009, AUTOR has positioned itself throughout its 19 editions as a space for contemporary jewelry and art manifestation for internationally selected designers. As a meeting place for the high-end contemporary jewelry, AUTOR promotes through the exhibition-fair, the printed magazine and the digital platform, the most appreciated designers and facilitates their meeting with the Romanian public and beyond. As a haute-couture of contemporary jewelry, artists chosen by specialized juries explore various themes such as authenticity and personal filter, cultural differences and meanings, accepted beauty and unusual esthetics, wearable pieces versus statement jewelry.
