#BEFREE the new HOMI Fashion&Jewels’ Exhibition
Over one hundred designers and brands have been brought together by Poli.Design in the latest cycle of #BE exhibitions at HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition to showcase interpretations of “freedom”, in the sense of freedom of expression, wearability, new materials and new technologies, and the concept of personalisation. All this is presented under the name #BEFREE, adding to the cultural value of HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition within the fashion accessory, bijou and jewelry sector.
“We have dedicated this exhibition to freedom because it is a fundamental value for every person, which we have appreciated even more now that the pandemic has forced us to have little of it” – explains Alba Cappellieri, from Politecnico Milano – “Jewellery and accessories are today the real protagonists of style, the interpreters of time and the messengers of important values such as freedom. What we present are jewels that find a new space on the body or an unconventional interaction with the dress, new wearability, new messages, new aesthetics and new materials, with one goal: be free!”
Some of the names that have joined this new chapter in the creativity and production quality of companies, craftsmen and designers are: Alessandra Calvani, Ida Callegaro Joidart for Aibijoux, Lorella Tamberi Canal , Minrl, Oriunda Jewels, Alessandro Marrone, Elio Fiorucci, Opella.
The exhibition-event’s focus on “freedom” is expressed through the different variations in jewellery, the meaning and significance of free forms of expression that are not just aesthetic. From the symbolism to the way a piece can be worn, this event has the intention of going beyond the adornment and showing the connections between a particular object and its universal message.
HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition is the event in which style, design and research rub shoulders, giving rise to original proposals and innovative ideas.
The exhibition-event is open from 11 to 15 March 2022.
