FOCUS ARTIST AUTOR 2026
VICTOR PAVLOV
“I don’t see jewellery as a luxury, but as an art form. And art is essential, regardless of whether we live in times of crisis or not.”

In 2025, he received the AUTOR Awesome Award, which also brought him the title of AUTOR Focus Artist for this year’s edition. His new collection, Ocean/Architects, stands at the center of our attention in 2026. Faithful to his artistic values and philosophy, Victor Pavlov is himself a poet, fascinated by the marine world, “by coral reefs with their richness of colours, shapes, and living conditions, hosting a large part of marine life, covering less than one percent of the ocean floor, yet supporting approximately 25% of all marine creatures. This architecture generates deeply inspiring spaces, similar to megalopolises where everyone is part of the whole and no one is unnecessary.”
Victor creates jewellery that transcends functionality, exploring the boundaries between form, emotion, and technology. Inspired by natural elements that he transforms into objects through direct casting, the Bulgarian artist combines traditional metalworking techniques with advanced digital methods. His works challenge the conventional idea of jewellery and propose a deeper, more personal, and socially engaged connection.
A graduate of the National Academy of Arts in Sofia and holding a PhD in visual arts, Victor has built an extensive portfolio of solo and group exhibitions both in Bulgaria and internationally. Since 2012, he has been a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
