Autor is at its 9th edition. After 5 years and 8 editions, we still are the largest contemporary jewellery fair in Romania and we continue to dedicate our work to promoting the upcoming figures in the sphere of the local design.După cinci ani și 8 ediții împlinite, suntem în continuarea cel mai mare târg de bijuterie contemporană din România și ne dedicăm promovării talentelor din designul autohton.
The next Autor edition, the spring one, will take place between 20th-21st April at Sala Dalles.
Starting with this edition, we will launch a new section in the fair, namely product design.
In order to become eligible, please express your wish of participating through sending an application, according to the following rules:
1. You will present products and objects you have designed.
2. The application will contain the presentation of the objects in their final form. You can complete the application with sketches of the objects (drawings, 3D images) so that we can understand the concept behind the product. We encourage presenting and supporting a personal concept. Using quality materials, executing and finishing professionally the objects is also very important.
3. Equally important is the manner in which you will exhibit the objects at the fair. Autor encourages exhibiting the objects through installations as creative and attractive as possible, without omitting the practicality and efficiency of the systems, keeping in mind that the objects are up for sale.
Technical facts:
– It is advisable that the application and portfolio are sent in a PDF format.
– If you send the images individually, make sure that they aren’t larger than 350 kb/jpg.
– The archive/images will be named as the person/studio applying for the fair. In the case of brands, the contact information should be mentioned as well (name, e-mail, phone number).

4. The deadline for sending the application is: 1 aprilie 2013. The results of the selection will be announced after the 7th April 2013. We will announce information regarding the fair (such as dates, location, taxes) after finalising the selection.
Suggestion: The photographs in the application should have the quality of presenting in a simple and efficient manner the object created by you. So keep it simple!
