Over 70 top designers from 25 countries across 3 continents will gather for the 22nd edition of the AUTOR International Contemporary Jewelry Fair, taking place on the weekend of May 10–11, 2025, from 10:00 to 20:00 at Unirea Shopping Center in Bucharest. The event will showcase more than 4,000 unique jewelry pieces and is renowned for its high-level curatorial selection, making it a key event on the international contemporary jewelry scene.
AUTOR 2025 continues to serve as a launchpad for emerging talents while also celebrating excellence in the field. A series of awards will be granted to the most outstanding participants, many of them offered in partnership with prestigious events and institutions in cities like London, Milan, Florence, and Athens—providing artists with direct opportunities to exhibit on these major international stages.
“AUTOR is more than a fair – it is a living space for dialogue, curation, and creative courage for those who have chosen to follow the path of jewelry. Every year, we succeed in bringing the freshest visions in contemporary jewelry to Bucharest, in a format that challenges and inspires both the participating artist and the audience,” says Dan Pierșinaru, founder and artistic director of the event.
The spotlight artist of AUTOR 2025 is Angelos Konstantakatos, winner of the AUTOR Awesome Award 2024. Known for the poetic force of his jewelry, Angelos explores the relationship between object, body, and space in a unique way: “My jewelry is a dialogue between material and emotion. I don’t just create to be worn, but to be lived.”
Among the many international artists participating in AUTOR 2025 are both established and emerging names from the global contemporary jewelry scene. Highlights include stunning works by Raluca Buzura, Daniela Cățoi, Ana Wagner, Andra Lupu, Cleopatra Coșuleț, and Maria Paltin from Romania, alongside Samokish (Ukraine), Simeon Shomov (Bulgaria), Fabiana Fusco (Italy), Wenying Jing, Sau-Lun Yeung (China), and Tomas Miskovic (Slovakia)—each bringing a distinctive, innovative, and deeply personal vision of author jewelry.
Milano Fashion & Jewels, one of the most important international events dedicated to jewelry and fashion accessories, will be present exclusively at AUTOR 2025. Visitors will have the rare chance to discover firsthand from the Milano team the latest trends and insights in contemporary jewelry presented at their renowned fair.
The fair also features the AUTOR Young Designers section—a special initiative dedicated to the future of jewelry design, supported by the AUTOR Pentru Viitor Association and powered by STIL Diamonds. This platform provides professional exposure and support to emerging creators under 26, selected to present their collections to the public and industry professionals.
