trapeze artist in circuses around the world, and 15 years as a professional film and
documentary editor based in Paris, he decided to return to Athens and focus on
sculpture and jewellery. His jewellery work consists of geometrical structures made with a variety of metal plates and wires and is exposed in museum and gallery shops in Greece and abroad.
During 2024 I participated at the Jelo6 Project in Athens Greece that was a mind blowing experience for me as I discovered the fine art jewellery world. I then had the opportunity to participate at the Autor Contemporary Jewellery Fair where realising the unlimited inspiration of jewellery artwork and the vastness of innumerable international artists I came upon to the decision of giving myself entirely to jewellery making. I was honoured with the Cluster Contemporary Jewellery Award and thanks to it I got to exhibit my work in London this past December and expand my contacts with more international artists as well as discover new ideas and mediums of our craft. My latest exhibition participation was in Athens this January in the Greek Jewellery Show where I was exhibiting next to all types of jewellery makers. It was a powerful and very constructive experience as I got to show my work to all kinds of audience and receive very rich feedback on my design ideas and craftsmanship. The development of our art runs through all types of fine arts as it is capable of combining them all in artworks that offer the closest physical experience to it’s audiences.

Metal, an element that has entirely structured 2024 into a disaster phase of humanity and nature. A year where all limits and boundaries have been questioned to the extremes of sensibility and sensitivity.
Metal to build or destroy, to create windows or prisons, vehicles or walls.
I have constructed my new pieces out of metal ply to create closed spaces withholding wearers fingers, therefore living body parts. I need the wearers to feel a maximum volume of metal against their skin. I have cut out tiny openings for limited breathing and vision, to manipulate how much we see and how much we know about what is happening inside or outside these little metal structures. I have filtered light through coloured liquid glass to decorate these restrictive perceptions, to turn beautiful something that withholds restriction.
I therefore see my jewels as tiny parts of military equipment and urban architecture, structures falling appart or coming together to create a new world order of force and repression.
