Aslovici Oriana

 

Aslovici Oriana was born on April 19, 1999. In 2014, she discovered her passion for crafting textile accessories alongside her mother. She graduated from the Bachelor's and Master's program at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, specializing in ceramics-glass-metal, where she laid the foundations for creating jewelry from precious metals. During her undergraduate studies, she founded Brizzart.jewelry, which started as a brand of accessories made from unconventional materials. In 2021, it transformed into what she likes to call "jewelry for the soul."

Oriana's creations are marked by the presence of themes that capture the essence of human existence. Her vision is characterized by a subtle transition from figurative to abstract and vice versa. Jewelry is a form of expression and release of negative memories, a process of healing the inner child. Silver was chosen as a medium of expression in her practice due to its tactile nature and its ability to convey the idea of play, being a game between her, material, experiences, and ideas.

'I Am All I Have' is a jewelry collection that is part of a ceramic and experimental jewelry installation, inspired by the experiences and emotions of childhood – a sincere and authentic expression of the inner being. The integration of childhood drawings into a process of recovering the past brings forth a collection that combines a playful spirit with elements of contemporary design. By evoking clichés related to her childhood universe, she hopes to trigger similar reactions in the viewer and give birth to a dialogue that reunites play as a creative element and the refinement of inspirational elements.
