D.A.M Designs was established in 2016. It is a brand that reflects my commitment to sustainability and artistic innovation. From the very start, my vision has been to craft jewelry that tells a story—about its materials, its wearer, and the world around it. My designs merge bold aesthetics with a thoughtful approach to environmental consciousness, transforming materials that are destined to be thrown away or recycled into wearable art.
The core of my practice lies in the Upcycled/Recycled Collection, where discarded materials like plastic bags and plastic bottles are reimagined into vibrant, feather-like earrings and sculptural body ornaments. Trash, is creatively transformed. Each piece is a proof that beauty can be found and created in the most unexpected places.
My evolution as a jeweler has been marked by a curiosity and a desire to challenge norms. I draw inspiration from the forms of nature, the architectural structures, and the emotions evoked by personal experiences. My creations are multi-wearable, inviting viewers to interact with them and discover new ways to express themselves.
Quoting French photographer Garance Doré, "Jewelry is a very personal thing. It should tell a story about the person who's wearing it", I offer not only unique accessories but also a narrative that blends sustainability with artistic value. My jewelry celebrates the beauty of reuse and the endless possibilities of creative transformation.
This jewelry collection is a celebration of transformation, where discarded plastic (like water and milk bottles, yogurt pots, biscuit packaging etc) finds new life as wearable art. Drawing inspiration mainly from the beauty of nature, the designs echo the fluidity of tree branches, the delicate allure of flowers, the rhythmic dance of sea plants, the serene purity of drops… Each piece embodies a harmonious blend of creativity and environmental consciousness which reflects the resilience of nature.
At its heart, this collection is a message of hope and change. It challenges the perception of waste, proving that what is often discarded can become something meaningful and beautiful.
