Living in a rural landscape has convinced me that the natural world is enchanting and ornamental enough. Working in this environment has taught me to allign my priorities with nature and proceed in a deliberate yet cautious manner.
With my hands and basic tools, I carve my own path through the creative process using methods that are self-taught, time-proven and unapologetically analog. I sparingly and strategically utilize electrical and technological resources, remaining focused on an indelibly human aesthetic.
Interacting with organic materials on a daily basis is a sensory excursion which informs me of their possibilities and limitations. I implement them in fresh and unexpected ways, imagining a finished piece delighting someone who may not otherwise experience artisan handwork or natural elements in such a context.
Paper is my preferred medium for its wide array of applications and its inate ability to complete the transformation cycle. From humble beginnings to sublime design, it fulfills the artistic metamorphosis with remarkable ease, surprising strength and uncommon beauty.
My work presents alternative ideas and concepts which respectfully question the increasingly digital-reliant and automated format of our global culture. I aim to shift the paradigm, ever so slightly, restoring an appreciation of the virtues of human skill in collaboration with nature.

At Langackerhäusl, our inspiration is deeply rooted in nature. We carefully scrutinize our material selection, working methods and design aesthetic, resulting in work we can proudly stand behind and happily share with others.
Our latest creative endeavor brings linen and paper together in a design fusion that proves, sometimes, independence can be reinforced through collaboration, and innovation can be achieved through tradition.
Experience the culmination of this paradox in jewelry pieces combining our durable, naturally water-resistant paper with the expertly woven textiles of Vieböck, the oldest linen weaver in our region. Together, each of these time-honored materials brings beauty and function to a range of fresh and unexpected designs.
Free from additional coloring or embellishments, this collection is grounded in the stark contrast of pure linen tones with bold, black paper. Each unique piece showcases paper and linen's vast lineage of plant based origins, refined through innovative design and artisan handworking methods.
Entirely handmade from natural materials, the Langackerhäusl + Vieböck jewelry collection epitomizes the beauty, function and sustainability of Austrian design.
