Studying at Glasgow School of Art was a turning point in my creative evolution, providing me with the technical knowledge and conceptual freedom to merge traditional goldsmithing techniques with digital fabrication. Mentors such as Andrew Lamb, Silvia Weidenbach, and Simone ten Hompel introduced me to laser welding, digital sculpting, and hydraulic press-forming, techniques that expanded my perspective on contemporary jewellery. Their influence helped shape my approach, allowing me to push the boundaries of form and function while integrating precision engineering with organic, tactile aesthetics.
At the core of my work lies the fusion of technology, art, and speculative design. I am drawn to the idea of jewellery as an artifact from an alternate timeline or a distant future, exploring themes of interstellar communication, bioengineering, and speculative archaeology. By incorporating titanium, 3D printing, and biodegradable materials, I create pieces that are not only wearable but also interactive, responding to light, movement, and perception in ways that engage the wearer dynamically.
Through my designs, I seek to challenge traditional perceptions of jewellery, transforming it into a bridge between craftsmanship and digital innovation, past and future, science and art. Each piece is an invitation to curiosity, speculation, and discovery, encouraging a deeper engagement with the evolving possibilities of contemporary jewellery.

"Hidden Knowledge" is a collection that reimagines jewellery as an interstellar message, inspired by humanity’s enduring desire to reach beyond the confines of our planet. It draws direct parallels with the "Golden Record", a cultural archive sent aboard the Voyager 1 Probe, containing audio and visual representations of life on Earth. This collection envisions jewellery as a relic from an extraterrestrial life, one that, much like us, sought to preserve its existence and transmit knowledge through symbols, frequencies, and reflective surfaces—a message in a bottle cast into the vast ocean of space.
The forms in this collection merge organic fluidity with digital precision, featuring rippling surfaces, undulating geometries, and structures that evoke movement within static material. The forms mimic natural erosion, cellular formations, and wave-like distortions, while anodized titanium enhances depth with shifting colors. Balancing mathematical precision with an otherworldly aesthetic, each piece feels like a relic of an unknown technology, carrying encoded frequencies and hidden narratives. These elements, combined with laser welding, colourful oxides, and intricate geometries, create a dynamic interplay of light, shadow, and motion, suggesting a transmission frozen in time. As the pieces shift under different perspectives, they reveal subtle variations—an optical illusion of encoded knowledge waiting to be deciphered.
More than just a wearable collection, "Hidden Knowledge" is a speculative study of communication, preservation, and discovery. It poses the question: What if another intelligent species, like us, attempted to document its existence, hoping to be found? These pieces present an alternative narrative—one where jewellery is not merely decorative, but a carrier of lost knowledge, an artifact of an undiscovered civilisation.
By merging advanced technology with traditional craftsmanship, this collection transforms jewellery into a medium that bridges time, perception, and the vast unknown—a conversation between past, future, and the limitless possibilities of space exploration.
