Name of the collection:
Jewelry of Everyday Objects

Description of the collection:

This series of works began with a close observation of commonly seen items in daily life. By collecting and studying the craftsmanship and functional logic behind these objects, the designer seeks to draw inspiration from the seemingly mundane and transform it into a language of jewelry design. Although the pieces are primarily crafted from precious metals such as gold and silver, their inspiration from everyday life allows them to challenge the authority and solemnity of traditional jewelry in a playful, humorous, yet critical manner.

For example, a set of spring-inspired designs was produced using a hardware parts assembly line, resulting in a series of silver spring rings and small pendants. Another piece, a gold pendant inspired by optical fishing lures—commonly used to attract fish drawn to shiny light—serves as a witty metaphor, capable of luring both jewelry lovers and actual fish. Equally intriguing is a ring with a screw-like structure, which can be worn as a piece of jewelry or function as an actual screw, fastening into furniture.

Here, materiality is no longer a symbol of power, wealth, or aesthetic ideals, but becomes a tool of reversal—it bestows a new perspective on cheap, industrial, and utilitarian objects, allowing them to drift between the "noble" and the "vulgar," and to move freely across the boundaries of craft and concept.
