The first piece of jewellery I have ever created was a ring I made playing in one of my friend’s studio. I was charmed by the result and I realised I like this way of artistic expression. As there’s also a technical side of jewellery making, the next step was to join the Assamblage jewellery school. The courses I joined there opened a new and fascinating world for me. I think perseverance and honesty will help me evolve as an artist in this field and I hope my jewellery will also send this message.
What are the main concepts translated through your work?
At present I am still experimenting with new techniques and I am trying to find a direction, but I can say that most of my pieces are inspired by nature and they resemble antique jewellery.
What material would you like to get to work with but haven’t had the chance yet?
Wood, stone, iron, bone, nacre and any brute and natural material that I can combine with gemstones.
How would you describe the person wearing your jewellery?
The one wearing the jewellery I create is someone who appreciates simplicity, normality and the feminine and vintage look of my pieces.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
To create jewellery that represents me.
If you were to be a piece of jewellery, what would you be?
I would be a ring, for the multiple meanings that it can have according to the person wearing it.
