2023 didn’t even start, and Dan Pierșinaru, founder of contemporary jewelry platform AUTOR, together with other industry leaders, such as Mihaela Lemnaru, Social Media & Creative Strategist and Mihnea Ghilduș, Product Designer and founder of Dizainar, had the honor to participate as a speakers at the conference #11 A Business of Architecture, Design & Creativity, created by Armina Popeanu.
The aBC – a Business of Creativity meeting series kicked off with a discussion on strategy, goal setting, how to plan strategy and tactics to scale business in architecture, design and creativity.
This conference was an opportunity to discuss the intersection of creativity and strategy in business. The topics discussed were diverse, some of them being personal branding, the difference between strategy and action, personal development, the relationships you need in business, connections and courage.
Dan Pierșinaru believes that enthusiasm is essential in business, in general. Loving what you do is the engine of entrepreneurship, but more so when we refer to creative entrepreneurship, you are the human who pushes the project forward, you are the emblem of what you do!
In this sense, it is ideal to be prepared for the personal branding side, to be able to talk about what you do at any time and to have a clean image.
As a creative entrepreneur, any plan should contain, in addition to the classic ones: personal development, the relationships you need in business, connections and courage.
As a strategy for 2023 it is best to start, not to plan too much and postpone action. Beginnings are essential and always have a special energy from which many other ideas come.
About the state of our creative entrepreneurship and the desire for design, Dan Pierșinaru says that “every year at our events – AUTOR, NOEL, MATERIA – approximately 10,000 people cross our threshold. And yes, from year to year, there is a thirst among them to wear and represent Romanian designers, for uniqueness and authenticity among more and more consumers”.
