This year at AUTOR 2025, we are proud to spotlight Angelos Konstantakatos as a Focus Artist—an architect and 3D modeller whose bold transition into contemporary art jewelry challenges conventions and reshapes the medium’s boundaries. With the full premiere of his two new collections, New Era and Diversity and Inclusion, Konstantakatos invites us into a world where the precision of digital design meets the emotive power of personal transformation.

For Konstantakatos, the phrase “New Era” isn’t just a collection title—it’s a declaration of intent. “New Era” speaks to decisive turning points: life changes that redefine identity and direction. It’s autobiographical and universal, deeply personal yet widely relatable. For the artist himself, it marks the moment he chose to translate his architectural language and 3D modeling expertise into wearable art. His jewelry doesn’t merely decorate the body—it inhabits a conceptual space where the methodology of architectural construction becomes a medium for storytelling.

In Diversity and Inclusion, Konstantakatos delves deeper into the philosophical. Here, he questions the limits of what society deems “jewelry.” The collection is a provocative exploration of materials—mushrooms, 3D-printed elements, resin, and silver—united in compositions that defy expectation and embrace difference. Rather than following aesthetic norms, Konstantakatos’s pieces forge a visual and symbolic argument for balance through heterogeneity. He challenges viewers to accept not only unconventional beauty but also the principle that inclusion can and should be intentional, meaningful, and harmonious.

What sets Konstantakatos apart is not only his command of material and form, but also his clarity of vision. He doesn’t create for shock value—he creates to connect, to open dialogue, and to question deeply rooted assumptions. His work occupies the intersection of art, architecture, and philosophy, blurring lines and refusing categorization.

As AUTOR 2025 continues its tradition of celebrating innovation and bold artistic voices, Angelos Konstantakatos represents the forward momentum of the field. His collections ask us not only to look but to rethink, to reframe, and ultimately to reimagine what jewelry can be in a world of shifting values and expanding definitions.

At this year’s fair, visitors will experience these groundbreaking collections in their full premiere—a testament to an artist unafraid to step into a new era and take us all with him.
