Creative jewelry was and remains a starting point that helps us tell stories and (re)create connections. A conversation starter at any moment.
On Saturday and Sunday, October 30th and 31st 2021, the second edition of DOR de AUTOR Pop-Up Shop took place at Hanul Gabroveni – ARCUB. The event managed to create an island of normalcy and beauty, meant to tame our longings and, on the other side, ignite new ones. It was a warm, nostalgic rendez-vous, where we were joined by talented artists, journalists, old friends and curious visitors eager to discover new contemporary jewelry pieces, a wide range of techniques and materials, ideas, and concepts full of meaning and beauty.
DOR de AUTOR Pop-Up Shop came as a confirmation of the fact that jewelry needs, now more than ever, an open and friendly public, willing to find joy even during difficult times. We enjoyed two days full of enthusiasm together with the AUTOR community, which gave us the certainty that the best choice we can make during this period is to stay together and not spiritually distance ourselves from each other.
We managed to bring together a line-up of special designers: Cleopatra Coșuleț, Raluca Buzura, Miruna Belicovici, Maria Paltin, Lucienne Buga (Republic of Moldova), Alys Rocks, Paola Castro (Portugal), Anayd Blu, Bizar Concept, Fabiana Fusco (Italy), Frgmnts (Italy), Atelierul de Porțelan, The Sense of Beauty (The Netherlands), Mesteshukar ButiQ, Miracolore, Jkult, Diana Pantea Jewellery, Cătălina Geru, Iunie Jewelry și Teodor Siminic.

AUTOR remains a catalyst and an active platform for the local and international contemporary jewelry scene – a meeting place, both physically and digitally, for the jewelry community and its creative minds.
DOR by AUTOR Pop-Up Shop happened with emotion, effervescence, and a big dose of perseverance and managed, in a small and intimate space, to connect designers with their audience.
