Dolly Boucoyannis from Greece brings the concept of combining precious materials with elements like pebbles, which are often overlooked by the general public for their intrinsic value.
Ivon Wong, a Singaporean designer professionally trained in both fashion and graphic design, pushes her artistic expression beyond conventional boundaries. Through her jewellery label, ‘Ivonovi’, she draws inspiration from diverse influences, including art, music, architecture, science fiction, and philosophy. Experimental and edgy, Ivon's designs are a unique blend of modernity and timelessness.
Zoe Chutong Huang ( UK) – Winner at Milano Jewelry Week- is a self-motivated jewellery designer who, through her own experience, has developed a broad range of interests within design that have shaped her perspective regarding the meaning of 'jewellery'. Her collection is aimed to find the tension and balance between androgynous and femininity. The artist has chosen to use mother-of-pearl, which is metaphorically feminine, which is wrapped in traditional jewellery form inspired metallic material that symbolises the female body beneath the drape. When worn on the body, the jewellery allows the conceptual art form to be transferred to the wearer's perception of reality, revealing an aesthetic of the human body that transcends the design itself.
Through jewellery, Carla Schiappa- Winner at Milano Jewelry Week – found the freedom to create unique pieces that tell stories and evoke emotions. Inspired by nature and its organic forms, each creation is a wearable work of art, designed to celebrate individuality and the harmony of life. Her designs reflect a passion for detail, an appreciation for beauty, and the strength of someone who embraced the chance to start over.
