Focus Designer at the 8th edition of the Contemporary Jewellery Fair will be Ioana Matei. The event will take place at Sala Dalles in Bucharest, during 3-4th November.
At the Autor Fair, Ioana Matei will launch a new spectacular jewellery collection- Serial Project No 9. The collection is composed out of a suite of necklaces crafted from a small number of elements, disposed in different compositions. They invite to an aesthetic and organic communication among people. This is built in a functional construction that does not exclude the relation jewellery-body. However, balance is the key term of the collection that is part of an ample project which aims to explore different levels of the connection between jewellery and the human body.
Focus Designer is a special section at the Autor contemporary jewellery fair, where a known designer is invited to exhibit his collection in a more extended format than the regular one. At the previous edition which took place in May, Ana Wagner was Focus Designer. The artist then launched her collection ‘The Gem Garden’.
The 8th edition of the largest contemporary jewellery fair in Romania will take place next month, during 3-4th November, at Sala Dalles in Bucharest. The event, organised by Autor Contemporary Jewellery will be open for visitors between 11:00-20:00 and will exhibit for the first time the newest collections from the most creative Romanian designers.

The Autor fair is a biannual event with both a spring and an autumn edition (3-4 November 2012). The price of a ticket is 10 lei. Event organised by Autor Contemporary Jewellery.
