AUTOR loves making new friends. And part of this, we gladly welcome new collaborations with those sharing the same vision and passion for art and contemporary jewelry.
Without further ado, we are very excited to announce that this June, AUTOR will give an award at Central Saint Martins! One very lucky BA Jewelry Design graduate will receive a free of charge participation in the following edition of AUTOR fair (May, 2019), a full page in the new issue of the magazine and one year promotion in our online environment.
AUTOR Awards is our way of encouraging and supporting talented designers in their work and highlighting collections and jewelry pieces that deserve our time and attention.
The degree exhibition will be showcasing students’ work and will open to the public startin June 20th until the 24th.
On the 21st, there is the much awaited BA Jewelry Design Awards evening. Some of the best jewelry pieces will be applauded and rewarded; young talents will be recognized and appraised.
As for the AUTOR Award, we will keep you posted and let you know who did it go to.
What is more, Caroline Broadhead, who is the Course Leader for the BA Jewelry Design course at Central Saint Martins, has also accepted our invitation to be one of the jury members for next year’s edition of AUTOR and we are very delighted about it!
Central Saint Martins is a world-famous arts and design college, part of University of Arts London. They are committed to the imaginative and ethical engagement of the arts, design and performance to effect real social, political and environmental change.
The BA Jewelry Design course looks for enthusiastic, energetic and talented students who are keen to define the future direction of contemporary jewelry.
